Root folder

Need to set up a root folder to store all my web files.
Without this my site wont recognise the link and objects wont be able to appear on my site.

I am going to keep my root folder on my memory stick so that I can keep it with me and use it at home and college.

There needs to be a seperate folder for my images within my root folder, so they are kept all together and recognised, unless they are kept on the web, then this can be linked directly from their server using the url.
