yeah, so i've kind of been struggling to stick to the size limit for images on my page, and then i created an image that really looks crap too sized down because you cant read the writing. SO i learned how to make a pop up window with a bigger image on.
I have set it so that when the thumb is clicked on it comes up in the main window, but when it is double clicked on it comes up much larger in a scrollable new window!
I think this works better because it shows my images at full size but it also doesn't ruin the general layout.
Make a new page with the larger image on. Select the thumbnail, click on behaviours, pick 'open new browser' then select it to go to the right page, and define the size of the window and make it scrollable so its easier to use and dah dahhh!
I had it so that is doesnt take up a whole new page because that would be annoying.

I think the idea of enlarging the image and having it in a pop up window is very good and required for pieces of work that have small details. I think it would be more user friendly to have a button under the main image on the left that simply says (click to enlarge) and that opens the pop up window. Like this argos
